Selinofos
The aim of the Selinofos Painting Studio is to help students develop and broaden their means of artistic expression through the exploration, application and deeper understanding of appropriate painting methods and techniques.
Art as knowledge and personal expression
At the same time, students become familiar with Art History, Theory and the Aesthetics of Art through the ages, with the aim of developing a deeper understanding of painting.
This knowledge encourages personal expression and helps each student gradually develop their own artistic language.
A vibrant space for engaging with art
Beyond its educational activities, Selinofos also operates as an exhibition space, hosting group and solo exhibitions by artists working across a variety of styles and artistic approaches.
The exhibitions feature artists working with classical, traditional and contemporary media, drawing inspiration from a broad range of themes.
The space aims to encourage direct and meaningful interaction between the public, the exhibited works and artistic creation.
